TERMS OF SALE AND USE – Bange EU/UK
CONSUMER CUSTOMER
These Terms of Sale and Use (“Terms”) govern sales made on https://bange.uk and use of the Website.
Publisher / seller:
SARL MFP ECOM – Bange EU/UK
229 Rue Saint-Honoré – 75001 Paris – France
SIREN: 980 027 742 – Paris Trade and Companies Register
Email: support@bange.uk
Telephone: +33 6 34 47 16 14
ARTICLE 1 – PURPOSE, SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE
1.1. These Terms determine the rights and obligations of SARL MFP ECOM (“Bange EU/UK”, “the Company” or “the Seller”) and any adult individual acting for purposes outside their commercial, industrial, craft, professional or agricultural activity (“the Customer” or “the Consumer”), in connection with distance sales of products and services offered on https://bange.uk.
1.2. These Terms apply exclusively to consumer Customers. Business customers are invited to contact Bange EU/UK for terms suited to their activity.
1.3. Placing an order constitutes unreserved acceptance of the version of these Terms applicable on the date of the order. The Terms are accessible at any time on the Website and may be saved or printed by the Customer.
1.4. The Company may amend these Terms at any time. Amendments do not apply retrospectively to orders already concluded.
ARTICLE 2 – PRODUCTS, CHARACTERISTICS AND AVAILABILITY
2.1. Essential product characteristics are presented on the product page. The Customer must read them before ordering.
2.2. Photographs, illustrations and videos are intended to present products as accurately as possible. However, they cannot guarantee an entirely identical appearance, particularly because of screen settings or minor manufacturing or presentation changes that do not affect the product’s essential characteristics.
2.3. Product offers remain valid while visible on the Website and subject to available stock. If an item becomes unavailable after order confirmation, Bange EU/UK informs the Customer as soon as possible and either refunds the unavailable item or proposes an alternative with the Customer’s agreement.
2.4. If an order contains several products and only one becomes unavailable, the other products may be dispatched unless Bange EU/UK accepts a request to the contrary.
ARTICLE 3 – PLACING AN ORDER AND POST-PURCHASE OFFERS
3.1. The Customer selects products and adds them to their basket. Before payment, a summary allows them to check products, quantities, prices, any discounts, delivery costs and the order total, and to correct errors.
3.2. Final payment confirmation constitutes an order with an obligation to pay. The sales contract is concluded when Bange EU/UK accepts the order and payment is authorised.
3.3. An order confirmation is sent electronically to the address supplied by the Customer. The Customer should retain this confirmation and their invoice.
3.4. After payment for the initial order and before the confirmation page appears, some Customers may be shown an optional post-purchase offer, including the Bange+ Warranty described in Article 9.3. If an offer is not displayed, this does not confer any right to purchase it later.
3.5. When the Customer accepts a post-purchase offer, the corresponding product or service is added to the original order and its price is charged using the payment method authorised at checkout, without requiring payment details to be entered again where the payment technology permits. The Customer receives information about the amended order.
3.6. Bange EU/UK reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order for a legitimate reason, including suspected fraud, non-payment, an obvious error, an order abnormal in relation to a consumer’s needs, or a previous unresolved dispute, without prejudice to the Customer’s rights.
ARTICLE 4 – PRICES
4.1. Consumer prices are displayed in euros, except for the United Kingdom market where prices are displayed in pounds sterling. Where VAT applies and is collected by Bange, displayed consumer prices include it.
4.2. Delivery costs and any other applicable charges are disclosed before the Customer finally confirms the order.
4.3. Bange EU/UK may change its prices at any time. The price charged is the price displayed and accepted by the Customer when confirming the order.
4.4. Import customs charges for the standard delivery service are handled by our logistics provider. Any charge that may legally remain payable must be disclosed before the order is confirmed.
4.5. Discounts, promotional codes and vouchers are subject to the conditions specified when issued and may be combined only where expressly permitted.
ARTICLE 5 – PAYMENT
5.1. Payment is due when ordering.
5.2. Available payment methods are those displayed at checkout. No three-instalment interest-free payment offer is currently provided by Bange EU/UK.
5.3. Where a third-party payment provider is used, its terms may supplement these Terms solely for matters relating to its payment service.
5.4. Payments are processed using secure solutions. Bange EU/UK does not retain the Customer’s complete bank details except where regulations and the payment provider permit a secure tokenisation or payment-method storage mechanism.
5.5. If authorisation is declined, a payment incident occurs or there is a legitimate suspicion of fraud, Bange EU/UK may suspend order processing while necessary checks are carried out or cancel the order.
ARTICLE 6 – DELIVERY, TRANSFER OF RISK AND RECEIPT
6.1. Standard tracked delivery is charged at €3.99 and free on orders of €150 or more; the United Kingdom rates are £3.99 and free from £150. Average delivery time is 8–10 working days. Orders are dispatched within 48 hours of receipt, excluding weekends and public holidays. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed dates unless expressly stated.
6.2. Delivery is made to the address or collection point selected by the Customer. The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of delivery information.
6.3. Risk of loss or damage transfers to the Customer when the Customer, or a third party designated by them other than the carrier proposed by Bange EU/UK, physically takes possession of the goods, in accordance with applicable law.
6.4. On receipt, the Customer is invited to check the parcel and products and promptly report any problem to the carrier and Bange EU/UK. Failure to make reservations or report a problem immediately does not deprive the Customer of statutory warranty rights.
6.5. If delivery is delayed, the Customer benefits from the rights provided by the French Consumer Code, including, under the statutory conditions, requiring the Seller to deliver within a reasonable additional period and then, where appropriate, terminating the contract.
ARTICLE 7 – STATUTORY RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
7.1. For distance contracts, a consumer Customer generally has fourteen (14) calendar days to exercise their right of withdrawal without giving a reason.
For goods, this period begins on receipt of the goods or, for an order containing several goods delivered separately, on receipt of the last item.
For a service or commercial warranty purchased separately after the original purchase, the period begins when the corresponding contract is concluded, subject to any specific statutory rules.
7.2. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer may send Bange EU/UK an unambiguous statement of their decision before the period expires:
– by email to support@bange.uk;
– or by post to SARL MFP ECOM – Bange EU/UK, Customer Service, 229 Rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, France.
7.3. Model withdrawal form:
To SARL MFP ECOM – Bange EU/UK, Customer Service, 229 Rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, France – support@bange.uk:
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale for the following goods / service:
Product or service:
Order number:
Ordered on / received on:
Customer’s name:
Customer’s address:
Date:
Customer’s signature (only for a paper form):
7.4. When withdrawing from a purchase of goods, the Customer must return them no later than fourteen (14) days after communicating their decision. Unless Bange EU/UK states otherwise, the Customer bears direct return costs when relying solely on the statutory right of withdrawal.
7.5. The Customer may handle goods as necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and proper functioning. They may be liable for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for these checks.
7.6. Following valid withdrawal, Bange EU/UK refunds amounts due under applicable law, including delivery costs corresponding to the standard delivery method offered, within a maximum of fourteen (14) days from being informed of the withdrawal decision. For goods, Bange EU/UK may withhold the refund until the goods are recovered or the Customer provides proof of dispatch, whichever occurs first.
7.7. Refunds use the same payment method as the original transaction unless the Customer expressly agrees to another method and incurs no fees as a result.
7.8. Statutory exceptions to the right of withdrawal include those set out in Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
ARTICLE 8 – COMMERCIAL 30-DAY RETURNS POLICY
8.1. Independently of the statutory right of withdrawal, Bange EU/UK offers a commercial returns policy allowing the Customer to request a return within thirty (30) days of receiving the order, subject to the conditions below.
8.2. The request must be made through Bange EU/UK’s returns portal. Depending on the options available for the order, the Customer may request a refund, exchange or store credit.
8.3. To qualify under this commercial policy, products must be new, unused, complete and in their original condition and, where applicable, in their original packaging with original labels.
8.4. After receiving a return, Bange EU/UK inspects it and processes the request within the times specified on the portal and in the returns policy.
8.5. For a change-of-mind return requested within 30 days of delivery and refunded to the original payment method, your contribution to the return label is capped at €6.99 for EU orders or £6.99 for UK orders, and will never exceed the actual direct transport cost. If the label costs less, you pay the lower amount; if it costs more, we cover the difference. This contribution is charged only once per return, not per item. No restocking or administrative fees apply. Exchanges and optional store credit remain free, with a 5% store-credit bonus. Faulty or incorrectly supplied goods are returned at our expense. On a full order return, the original standard delivery charge is refunded. Statutory withdrawal rights and refund deadlines remain unaffected.
8.6. Returns must follow the procedure and use the label supplied by the portal where provided. Consequences of returns outside the procedure are those disclosed to the Customer before dispatch, provided they are lawful and proportionate to costs actually incurred.
8.7. Packs: where products are sold as an indivisible pack at a specific price, all pack components must be returned together to obtain a refund or store credit for the pack, unless more favourable provisions are stated on the Website.
8.8. Bange+ Warranty and returns: the specific rules for Bange+ Warranty following a full return, partial return or exchange are set out in Article 9.3.9.
ARTICLE 9 – WARRANTIES
9.1. STATUTORY CONSUMER RIGHTS
Your mandatory consumer rights are not limited by the Bange commercial warranties. In Spain and Portugal, the legal conformity guarantee for new goods is generally three years from delivery. In Germany and Italy, the statutory conformity period is generally two years from delivery. In the Netherlands, legal protection depends on the product’s reasonably expected lifetime and is not limited to a fixed two-year period. UK customers retain their rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the short-term right to reject faulty goods and the applicable rights to repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. The Bange 2-year warranty and optional Bange+ 5-year warranty supplement these rights and do not shorten statutory claim periods. Contact support@bange.uk for a statutory claim, free of charge where required by law.
9.2. BANGE COMMERCIAL WARRANTY CONTRACT – 2 YEARS – FREE
9.2.1. Nature of the warranty
Bange EU/UK provides, at no extra charge, a two (2) year Bange commercial warranty on eligible Bange products purchased directly from the official https://bange.uk store. This commercial warranty is separate from the statutory warranties in Article 9.1 and supplements them without replacing them or limiting their exercise.
Price of the Bange 2-year commercial warranty: £0.
Duration: two (2) years from the purchase date shown on the invoice.
Territory: United Kingdom, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.
Guarantor: SARL MFP ECOM – Bange EU/UK, 229 Rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, France – support@bange.uk – telephone: +33 6 34 47 16 14.
9.2.2. Covered products
The Bange 2-year commercial warranty applies to Bange products purchased on https://bange.uk and used under normal conditions for their intended purpose.
9.2.3. Covered defects
It covers, in particular, manufacturing defects and abnormal failures arising under normal use, including:
– stitching coming loose or tearing;
– shoulder straps, handles or straps coming away;
– defective zips or zip pulls;
– pockets coming apart;
– defective press studs or buckles;
– defective integrated anti-theft locks;
– failed integrated USB ports.
9.2.4. Exclusions
The following are excluded from this commercial warranty, without depriving the Customer of statutory warranties where applicable:
– normal wear and cosmetic ageing;
– cuts, holes, stains, scratches and cosmetic damage;
– accidental damage, including tears, impacts, crushing and burns;
– immersion or prolonged exposure to moisture or extreme conditions;
– overloading, misuse or failure to follow care instructions;
– theft or loss;
– deliberate damage;
– repairs or modifications by an unauthorised third party where these caused the defect claimed.
9.2.5. Making a claim
The Customer submits a claim using the warranty form at https://bange.uk/pages/warranty-claim, supplying the requested information, photographs of the product and defect, and their invoice or order number.
Bange EU/UK reviews the claim and informs the Customer of the proposed solution according to the defect and warranty conditions. Detailed terms of the free commercial warranty are also available at https://bange.uk/pages/bange-guarantee.
9.3. COMMERCIAL WARRANTY CONTRACT – BANGE+ 5-YEAR WARRANTY – PAID
9.3.1. Nature and optional status
Bange+ Warranty is an optional, paid commercial warranty extension. It is separate from the statutory warranties in Article 9.1 and supplements the free Bange commercial warranty in Article 9.2.
Bange+ Warranty does not extend or replace the statutory warranty of conformity: it increases the total Bange commercial warranty period from two (2) to five (5) years, adding three (3) years of commercial coverage under this Article.
9.3.2. Purchase and price
Bange+ Warranty may be offered immediately after payment for an eligible order on https://bange.uk. It is not compulsory; declining it has no effect on the initial order, statutory warranties or free Bange 2-year commercial warranty.
The offer is available only when actually presented to the Customer. Once the post-purchase page has been left, the Customer has no right to purchase Bange+ Warranty later for that order.
The applicable price is the price displayed on the post-purchase offer page when the Customer accepts. It is a one-off payment, with no subscription or administration fee.
9.3.3. Duration and effective date
Bange+ Warranty increases the total commercial warranty period to five (5) years from the purchase date shown on the relevant order’s invoice.
9.3.4. Territorial coverage and guarantor
Territory: United Kingdom, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.
Guarantor: SARL MFP ECOM – Bange EU/UK, 229 Rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, France – support@bange.uk – telephone: +33 6 34 47 16 14.
9.3.5. Covered products
Bange+ Warranty covers eligible physical Bange-brand items in the original order, including accessories, pack components, integrated USB ports and integrated locks.
The following are excluded from Bange+ Warranty coverage:
– products supplied free of charge;
– gift cards;
– services;
– products not bearing the Bange brand or expressly described as ineligible.
9.3.6. Covered defects
Bange+ Warranty covers manufacturing defects and abnormal failures arising under normal use, including zips, zip pulls, stitching, straps, handles, pockets, press studs, buckles, integrated locks and integrated USB ports where their failure is covered.
9.3.7. Exclusions
The following are excluded in particular:
– natural wear, cosmetic ageing, scratches, stains and discolouration;
– cuts, holes, damaged fabric or bag bottoms, and scratches on imitation leather components;
– accidental damage, including tears, impacts, crushing and burns;
– immersion or prolonged exposure to moisture or extreme conditions;
– overloading, misuse or failure to follow care instructions;
– theft or loss;
– deliberate damage;
– repairs or modifications by an unauthorised third party where these caused the defect claimed.
These exclusions concern only Bange+ Warranty and cannot restrict the Customer’s statutory warranties.
9.3.8. Claims and solutions
To request assistance, the Customer completes the form at https://bange.uk/pages/warranty-claim, supplying the requested information, photographs of the defect and product, and their invoice or order number. The Bange+ Warranty certificate is also requested; it may be reissued using the order number where technically possible.
Bange EU/UK aims to review the claim within forty-eight (48) hours.
Where the defect is covered, Bange EU/UK prioritises repair. If repair is impossible or disproportionate, Bange EU/UK may replace the product with an identical item or, failing that, a similar item of equivalent value. Bange EU/UK customer service chooses between repair and replacement according to the defect and the product’s circumstances.
If no suitable replacement is available, store credit may be offered. The maximum coverage under Bange+ Warranty is the original purchase price of the affected product.
Dispatch and return costs directly related to an accepted Bange+ Warranty claim are paid by Bange EU/UK. The stated maximum period for repair or replacement under Bange+ Warranty is sixty (60) days.
9.3.9. Returns, exchanges and cancellation of Bange+ Warranty
– Full order return: Bange+ Warranty is cancelled and refunded when all covered items are returned and refunded.
– Partial return: Bange+ Warranty remains active on covered items retained by the Customer.
– If no covered item is retained after a partial return: Bange+ Warranty is refunded in full.
– Exchange: Bange+ Warranty transfers to the replacement product where it replaces a covered item from the original order.
Without prejudice to statutory withdrawal rights, Bange EU/UK allows the Customer to request cancellation and a full refund of Bange+ Warranty within fourteen (14) days of purchase, provided no Bange+ Warranty claim process has already begun.
Requests may be sent to support@bange.uk or through the warranty / customer service form.
9.3.10. Certificate and durable medium
After purchasing Bange+ Warranty, the Customer receives or can download a document on a durable medium setting out the warranty terms, covered products, duration, price, exclusions and claims procedure. The Customer should retain this document with their invoice or order number.
9.3.11. Transfer
If the product was given as a gift, Bange+ Warranty may benefit the recipient provided they have the certificate and proof of purchase. Bange+ Warranty is not transferable on resale of the product.
9.3.12. Priority of statutory warranties
Bange commercial warranties and Bange+ Warranty apply in addition to the Customer’s statutory warranty rights. Where a situation falls under the statutory warranty of conformity or the statutory warranty against hidden defects, the Customer retains all rights provided by law, regardless of commercial warranty conditions, limitations or exclusions.
ARTICLE 10 – LIABILITY
10.1. Bange EU/UK is responsible for proper performance of its obligations under the conditions prescribed by law.
10.2. Bange EU/UK cannot be held liable for damage resulting from misuse, use contrary to the product’s intended purpose or unauthorised modification, except where liability arises under mandatory law.
10.3. No provision of these Terms may exclude or limit liability or rights that the law prohibits from being excluded or limited.
ARTICLE 11 – PERSONAL DATA
11.1. Bange EU/UK processes personal data necessary to manage orders, payments, deliveries, returns, warranties and customer relations, prevent fraud and meet its legal obligations.

ARTICLE 13 – FORCE MAJEURE
Neither party shall be liable for failure directly caused by a force majeure event within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code and French case law, for the duration and to the extent that the event prevents performance of the relevant obligation.
ARTICLE 14 – EVIDENCE, ARCHIVING AND COMMUNICATIONS
14.1. Data recorded by Bange EU/UK and its providers under normal security conditions may constitute evidence of orders, payments, communications and transactions, subject to contrary evidence and mandatory law.
14.2. Invoices, order confirmations and contractual documents are retained for the periods required by applicable regulations. Where entitled, the Customer may request access by contacting support@bange.uk.
14.3. Electronic communications and documents may constitute a durable medium where they allow the Customer to retain information addressed personally to them, consult it later for an appropriate period and reproduce it unchanged.
ARTICLE 15 – PARTIAL INVALIDITY AND NON-WAIVER
15.1. If a provision of these Terms is declared invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
15.2. Bange EU/UK’s occasional failure to invoke a right or provision does not waive its right to invoke it later.
ARTICLE 16 – APPLICABLE LAW, COMPLAINTS AND CONSUMER MEDIATION
16.1. These Terms are governed by French law, without depriving the Consumer of more protective mandatory provisions of their country of residence where applicable.
16.2. In the event of difficulty, the Customer should first contact Bange EU/UK customer service at support@bange.uk to seek an amicable solution.
16.3. If no amicable agreement is reached, the Consumer may refer the matter free of charge to Bange EU/UK’s consumer mediator under the conditions of the French Consumer Code, within one year of their prior written complaint to Bange EU/UK:
